Cathedral Viewing Platform
Climbing the 320 steps to this elevated platform rewards you with the most breathtaking, uninterrupted panorama of the city. You are positioned right at the base of the colossal spire, offering an incredibly close look at the intricate gothic stonework. From here, the dense maze of steep, terracotta roofs on the Grande Île spreads out below like a medieval tapestry. On clear days, the view stretches far across the Rhine valley all the way to the dark silhouette of the Black Forest in Germany. It is a physically demanding climb, but the visual payoff is absolutely spectacular.
