Saint Dominic Viewpoint
The wide terrace positioned just outside the Basilica of San Domenico offers an unobstructed, sweeping view across the valley. From here, the Cathedral appears to float on the opposite hill, its striped marble facade glowing brilliantly in the afternoon sun. The cascading brick rooftops of the historic centre lead the eye down into the valley and back up to the towering city hall. It is widely considered the ultimate, classic postcard angle of the city.
