WHY WE LOVE THIS ROUTE

It combines excellent souvenir shopping with the most impressive views of the city's maritime operations. It is a fantastic place to appreciate the scale and importance of the port that defined the city's history.

  • The lighting for photographing the port is usually best in the late afternoon.
  • This is an excellent spot to purchase lapis lazuli, a beautiful blue stone only found in Chile and Afghanistan.
