    May 21st Promenade

    PASEO 21 DE MAYO

Perched high on Cerro Artillería, this wide, tree-lined promenade offers arguably the best overview of the city's working port. You can lean against the railing and watch the massive, colourful shipping containers being loaded onto vessels right below you. The view extends across the entire crescent-shaped bay, capturing the chaotic spread of houses clinging to the hills. It is incredibly photogenic, especially when the afternoon sun hits the colourful neighbourhoods.

    Angeles Point Lighthouse Viewpoint

    MIRADOR FARO PUNTA ÁNGELES

Situated further out along the coast near Playa Ancha, this viewpoint offers an unobstructed, dramatic look at the mighty Pacific Ocean. The stark white lighthouse provides a beautiful focal point against the deep blue water. It is an excellent spot to appreciate the ruggedness of the coastline and watch massive waves crash against the cliffs. The perspective here feels wilder and more isolated than the viewpoints in the city centre.
