WHY WE LOVE THIS ROUTE

It provides a dramatic change of scenery from elegant neoclassical architecture to wild, rugged nature in just a few kilometres. The views looking down upon the Adriatic from the high plateau are completely unmatched.

  • Keep an eye out for farm signs to sample homemade cheese and wine directly from the producers.
  • The ascent to the plateau is steep; consider putting your bike on a bus to reach the top and enjoy a leisurely ride along the ridge.
