This route escapes the urban environment entirely, plunging you into the fragrant Mediterranean scrubland. The constant proximity to the protected marine reserve means the coastal views are wild, dramatic, and largely untouched by modern development.

- • Pack a snorkel mask in your backpack; the coves you pass are among the best snorkelling spots in Sicily.
